The SNES Lemmings US version has a few different places from a Japanese version. Now, important matter is not how hima got US version Lemmings. Important matter is search a different place from Japanese version.
Since only a different portion from Japanese version is explained, first of all, please study the Japanese version perfectly. I think that you cannot understand except this page even if it translates into English simply. Because other pages require the background of Japanese cultural knowledge. Lemmings codes for SNES[US]
PASSWORD
A next table is a complete list of the password, and all passwords are alphabet of 7 characters. There is no vowel(A,E,I,O,U) unlike the password of Japanese version. Therefore I don't know whether hidden meaning exists like Japanese version.
Incidentally, each password is inputted to play that stage. It is not password what can be got when the stage is cleared.

You will see a message "Incorrect Code", if input the password after the 6th stage of SUNSOFT SPECIAL. These codes were recorded in game ROM, but not used.
It became a programmer's murmur when the Japanese version was read from the contrary, but maybe such feature cannot be found in US version.

Don't do anything too hasty.

After starting, immediately set the release rate to 66 or 67. Next, use dig for #1 lemming and use build after #1 digged 10dot.
The #2 is just on the right edge, build stairs to the exit. Builder is repeated 6 times to the exit, build 12 steps after and walk 1 step.
And then rescue the lemmings in a hole. If release rate is set to 66 or 67, all lemmings in a hole should be overlapped. So it is easy to take out them.

For #1 lemming, basher the first wall. And immediately, #2 mine to floor before the wall to make a dead end. Use builder to #1 when bash through the wall and #2 for interrupt miner.
As for after, #1 makes the way to exit.Use basher and 2 builder, reach to 2nd letter "ha". Bash, build, bash and build lead #1 to 3rd letter "yo".Use basher and builder to reach to 4th letter "u".Mine to the exit when reached "u".
It will end, lemming on bottom of the start build stairs to the way to exit.

But this Stage have few time, must hurry procedure.
After start, immediately set Rate, and use digger to #1 near the start as much as possible. Soon after #2 used 5th builder, take out the lemmings in a hole. And set Rate to 99. It can rescue 100%, if all lemmings started in remaining 25 seconds.

After #1-#5 lemming comes out, raise the release rate to 99. Next use a builder to #2-#4 lemming, to make enough interval with #1 and #5 lemming. #1 goes up and just before falling, use builder. It is success #1 build stairs without #5 falling into gap.
After #1 lemming fall downward and passed over the 3rd projection above the sea of fire, use builder into projection for reverse to the left, and build stairs to the left on 3rd projection(use 2 builder).
Other all lemmings will reach the right end and go upstair and come back to the left. They fall down, but stairs make them survive.
#1 goes for the exit, and build stairs from the chain.

It shares the same fate from a start. And it is troublesome no digger, if you want to digging, no choice has except miner. I think that 2P can go to the exit surely, but they will be obstructed by blocker of 1P.
By the way, the graffiti look like cool is only advertisement of SUNSOFT game product, in fact.
"SUPER SPY HUNTER" is vehicle combat video game for the NES,and it was released in Japan as "BATTLE FORMULA". In Japanese version, it is not "SUPER SPY HUNTER" but "BATTLE FORMULA".
This graffiti ad was optimized for released country.
The same, action game "BLASTER MASTER"[NES] is "META FIGHT" in Japanese version.
Action adventure game "UFOURIA"[NES] is "HEBEREKE".
But action game "FREEDOM FORCE"[NES] was not released in Japan, therefore this graffiti in Japanese version is "IKKI"(action game about Japanese historical civil revolution).
